Dress Card

It was so nice to see my eldest son over Christmas,been an awful Christmas this year,what with the horrible snow and ice and living on a really badly iced up corner,not being able to get out ,shopping or otherwise.it was so great to see him,hadn't seen him for 18 months at least,lol.
My eldest daughter has had a really awful Christmas ,with illnessess.both her 2 daughters and herself have had this flu,so we couldnt even go up there,we usually go every Christmas morningmthis year my other son took us up in his 4x4 in the evening for a quick visit,
she was too ill for visitops so we didnt stay long.
She is a little better in herself ,but she has now lost her voice,lol.
My OH is also coming down with either a cold or maybe manflu.my turn next,I think.

Any way,as this will be my last blog of 2010 ,I would like to wish all my followers a very Happy New Year ,and hope all goes well in 2011,for us all.

HEres my outside icicle decorations,no need for lights this year.these are about 3ft long.

Little doves.

Heres what I made yesterday,4 little birdies in a row.
They were made from a stitching kit,I recieved in a lovely giveaway from Pink poppy ,lots of lovely items were in my parcel,but this was so easy to make,I had to make it up straight away

I think I may hang them on my Christmas tree,its predominately silver,but the colours should be ok on there.

Another Tilda to rise out of yesterday's mess.

heres's another Tilda card ,I finished this one last night when I had thawed out,lol.
Made the Tilda topper in the cold and mess of yesterday.
Tild has been layered and coloured with pro markers ,some sticlies added to her hairband and dress.
The backing papers were printed free off the net,little sparkly butterfly sequins were added to the plain blue card ,all the papers were inked around the edges.
The flower was from my stash the brad from making memories
The notched card was from craftworkcards ,their back to basics range.
I have another 98 to go.........................................

What a day ,today was.

Another little 3D Tilda card ,how this card was crafted is a mistery...........it was done amongst ,hammering,drilling ,dust flying electritians ,who came at 9 oclock to rewire my whole house.
What a palaver,me,being me ,thought they were due tomorrow so had only just got out of bed and had my first cup of tea,
First thing they did was turn off the heating and electric.and then,being workers leave all the doors open to the elements,it was - 10 when I got up .
By 10 o clock we were froze ,so they took pity on us and connected the central heating so we could have radiators,not much help when they leave doors open,lol.
Enough of my winghing,they have gone now,be back tomorrow though,cos they,forgot ,to wire up my bedroom light.


This was at 10 oclock this morning.while I was sitting in the mess ,crafting away,like a mad woman. trying to keep busy to forget I was freezing.

Many thanks for the instructions ,didn't use the black marker brush,as I dont own one.now I look at it ,I could have used a black ink pad instead.

I used double sided foam pads to try this out,looks really cool.Only used 2 images to get this effect,now to finish the card,lol.

If you look it is shining it has sequin stickies on the shoe and the petals of the flowers,and some shiny diamond brads

Wish I hadn'tpicked these aqua colours,as they are making me feel quite cold this morning,well it is minus 11 outside my window,brrrrrrrrrrr...........

2 forever friends cards

these forever friends cards were made from ,the forever friends decoupage card kit,which was free with this month's Papercraft inspirations.

In the larger card ,the decoupage is backed by mirror card,but it hasn't shown up very well on the photo.

Beautiful papers and decoupage in this great freebie,enough to make 10 cards ,as there are 10 decoupage.

I just love decoupage,what do you think?

another Crimbo card

This card was mostly made with the lovely freebies from Donna at the Bearly mine designs

Aren't they beautiful,I adapted the one paper,cutting out the circle to make a frame for my other freebie,the lovely sentiment.

Only made this one solitary little box yesterday.

Another first for me,a waterfall card

Made my first waterfall card,last night.

I followed instructions out of this months,Papercraft inspirations,I always wanted to make one of these cards ,but thought I would have to buy a kit for them.

This was quite straight forward,except I got in a right old pickle trying to get the poll tab in right.lol.

I used my own backing paper but cut out the cat pics from the magazine,slap hand, I hate cutting up my card mags.

The brads and sentiment
was from my stash

the pink stick on edging was from Anitas,dont remember where I got the silver edging.

Now to make another with some of my own pics,I think photos would be good .

Snowman shaker card

This is my first ever shaker card,I recycled the plastic container,it had paper flowers in it,put a pic behind and added tiny cut out snowflakes inside to shake.
The skates and sentiment came from a pack of embellishments from Home bargains

The backing paper was a free print off

Flower with the diamond middle from Papermania,as was the larger brad at the top right,

The ribbon sentiment was from craftyribbons,

her sari has sequin glitter glue,and she wears tiny blue rhinestones in her hair
