MY garden flowers in Spring, 25th April

Council "working" again............

What a nice job they made of our fence ,its more secure now as we can lock the gate.
well done Caerphilly council.......................................................

no trouble in the night ,thanks kids........................

heres our boundary fence at 3,15 pm ,dont think this will keep many kids out do you?lovely lot of branches and empty cement bags,ready piled up so the kids can light it later,lol.

wonder if there will be anything left in the morning.

Today we finally have the council in to renew our boundary fence.

this is rotting away and we have been having night time "visitors
who have been relieving us of our patio furniture and solar lights ,among other items.

The Council workers arrived at 8.15 am ,started work at 9 ,most of the fence is down now,its 10.23, but they still have the larger shrubs and one old fir tree to remove,before they can start to erect the fence posts

By the way,they are still waiting for a skip to arrive,good planning have the Council ................................................

Supervisor has already been on site,to keep an eye on the work,they mustn,t remove too much or they wont be able to get rid of it,duh ,dont they have any tips then?

Another blanket .

I think this is big enough for a throw,so I will go around the outside a few times and its finished..........

April 3rd lovely family day

Had a great family day today,
first my younger daughter and her 2 girls came for lunch,
just some chips and roast pork,which I had just cooked for Sunday lunch tomorrow.
We had a good old natter,she,s going through a little hiccup in her relationship at the mo,but seemed ok today,girls had their eggs and little crochetted animals that I had made.,hello kitty one was much appreciated by older girl.
The my youngest son,wife and 2 boys arrived with their eggs as well ,so we all been chomping on the choccy.
Boys liked their animals as well especially my attempt at jellyfish from spongebob.
All the children went with my Oh to take turns on the xbox upstairs.
Then my oldest daughter and fiance arrived ,with shopping bags in tow. freezing cold and dying for a cup of coffee.
So a good old natter was had by all,caught up on all family gossip and news.
dont usually see them all together,lovely to compare the 4 grandchildren together,they are all growing so quick these days.
Very quiet now they have all gone ...........................................................

APRIL 2010

April 5th,
heres my daughters daffodils,its the first year that she has really taken an interest
in her little patio garden,she is only gardening in pots,but aint she doing well........shes beating me
at the moment.

april 1st,all fool,s day,
well it was snowing on and off
all day testerday,so very glad
to wake up to no
lingering snow.
My daffodils are still trying to bloom.little bit of sunshine for 1st of April

real bad weather in the last hour. rain,snow,hailstones and thunder and lightening

things can only get better........................at least the birds are singing their hearts out.
